Archbold is what a small community is meant to be. . . residents and businesses working together to create a strong place to live, work and visit. Great health care, an excellent school system and beautiful parks complete the setting for this outstanding community.
The downtown beckons with the recently renovated streetscape, Sauder Village welcomes you to stay awhile at their spacious Heritage Inn with indoor pool, and the Village of Archbold continues to provide quality services and a well-kept town.
We welcome you to enjoy the ambiance of our town while dining, shopping and just exploring all we have to offer.

Each year Archbold promotes the importance of "strong character" within its community through the Northwest Ohio Character Council. Every month a different quality is stressed through advertising, promotion and school events. Being reminded of these important qualities will help us to live by them and teach them to our children. We are encouraged to make a new committment to qualities of good character and how they affect our everyday lives as we work, play and live together.

The Archbold Area Chamber of Commerce is our community's business advocate. How this mechanism is best utilized is determined by the needs and desires of businesses and the community.
We may be defined as a "vehicle" for mobilizing people to accomplish agreed upon goals for the betterment of our community. Our purpose specifically is to:
1. Increase business growth and development of jobs within our market. 2. Assist in the orderly growth and development of the community and its people. 3. Contibute to building healthy markets to assure economic stability. 4. Retain the private enterprise system with free competitive markets.
