Why Visit Archbold

Archbold, Ohio is situated conveniently off the Ohio turnpike at exit 25. This thriving small community has much to offer the visitor. Its safe, quiet atmosphere makes for a relaxing visit and great place to do business.

Historic Sauder Village will let you escape to the past and see how this area was when it was first founded. The living history attraction offers hands-on activities and quality craftsmen at work. For another look into the past, the Oberhaus Museum offers antique cars, dolls, quilts and collectibles.

Sauder Woodworking Company (the world's leading producer of ready-to-assemble furniture) resides in Archbold and maintains a factory outlet store open 7 days a week to the public.

A wide variety of shops and restaurants are available, all offering friendly service and unique products. Be it flowers, furniture, home decor, gifts or clothing, Archbold area mechants are ready to serve you.

Parade of Lights

The streets of Archbold are aglow the day after Thanksgiving. Join us Nov. 28th at 6:30 pm for our annual Parade of Lights. Over 50 units, decorated with thousands of lights, will travel from the north end of Archbold south on Rt. 66 (Defiance St.)

Festival of Lights

The Festival of Lights begins the day after Thanksgiving, November 28th, and runs through January 1st.

Drive through beautiful Ruihley Park in downtown Archbold and see Christmas sparkle. With over 35 displays this Festival of Lights is sure to make even Scrooge smile. Open all night long, seven nights a week, and the best part is it's free!!
