|  Archbold Area Schools serve students in pre-school through grade 12. The average classroom size is 20 students or less per teacher. Excellence in the classroom can be seen in the high achievement of our graduates.
Archbold schools also offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities. There is a tradition of spirit and performance among all our sports teams and our outstanding band. There is always a reason to show our "Bluestreak" pride.
Archbold is also home to Four County Career Center. Students from Henry, Fulton, Defiance and Williams counties can spend their junior and senior year training for jobs out of high school.
| | Students' options in Northwestern Ohio are impressive. Students frequently choose to continue their education at Northwest State Community College located right here in Archbold. Others find it desirable to choose among the University of Toledo, Bowling Green State University, Lourdes College, Defiance College and Medical College of Ohio, which are all within an hour drive.
| |  The Archbold Community Library houses approximately 27,000 volumes in a building of 11,500 sq. ft. The collection also contains audio books, CD's, videos and subscriptions to 110 periodicals and 10 newspapers. Circulation of these items was over 152,000 in 1999.
Regular programming is offered for ages 2-adult in the Erie J. Sauder Community Room. The Community Room is also available by reservation for use by non-profit groups in the community.
For genealogy enthusiasts, the library has a microfilm/fiche reader/printer and microfilm of the Archbold Buckeye from 1905-present, as well as books of local history and genealogies of local families.
The library offers 6 computer terminals with full Internet access. Home access to research databases is available by logging on to the library's website and using a valid library card. There are also 2 computers in the children's department with CD-Rom educational programs and 2 computers available for personal use which contain word processing and resume software programs.
The library is governed by a 7 member Board of Trustees consisting of persons from the community. The majority of the funding for the library comes from the state of Ohio (75%) and a local operating levy (20%).
