Route 66 BASH
Check out the information below to answer any questions you may have about the upcoming Route 66 Bash Concert on Friday, June 17.
GATE ENTRANCE: There will be four gates available to the event attendees this year:
1. Vine St./Holland St.
2. Holland St./Defiance St.
3. N. Defiance Street, in front of the Law office/Downtown Restaurant
4. N. Defiance Street, in front of Child's Investment Group
TICKETS: Tickets are available at the gate for $10 -- CASH ONLY! There is no need to purchase tickets ahead of time. No re-entry permitted!
PARKING: Parking is available in many locations. Several municipal parking lots are available around the event area. Parking is also available at Ruihley Park and on many of the surrounding streets.
TIMES: Gates will open at 5 pm. Food and beer vendors will be available at this time. Live music begins at 6 pm.
6 pm: Nate Maynard; 7:30 pm: Noah Hicks; 9:00 pm: Kat & Alex
FOOD TRUCKS: There will be seven different food trucks as follows:
BEVERAGES: Drink tickets are $2.50 CASH ONLY!! The following are available for purchase-Bud Light, Budweiser, Busch Light, Michelob Ultra, Bud Light Hard Soda. Absolutely no outside food or drink permitted.
ROAD CLOSURES: The following road closures will be in effect for the Route 66 Bash event as well as preparations and clean up.
-North Defiance Street between Stryker Street and Williams Street will be closed to all traffic beginning at 2 pm on Friday, June 17. This will allow for set up of necesary areas for the concert.
-North Defiance Street will remain closed until approx Midnight on June 17.
-Holland Street will be closed to through traffic between North Defiance Street and Ditto Street at 10 am on Friday, June 17. Business access on Holland Street will be maintained. The alley behind the Downtown Restraurant and Farmers & Merchants State Bank will also remail open at all time.
-Holland Street will be closed from Defiance Street to Vine Street beginning at 2 pm. The parking lot behind the municipal building will remain open and can be accessed from E. William St. Traffic will not be able to cross Holland St. in the alley behind the municipal building. The parking lot behind State Farm Insurance, The Home Restaurant, and Pennycrest must be vacated by 4:30 pm. The alley behind the east side of the 200 block businesses will be closed at 4:30 pm. The municipal lot at Depot St. and Vine St. will be accessible at all times.
-Depot Street traffic will be maintained.
ATM: Farmers & Merchants State Bank will have their mobile ATM inside the concert area.
DOWNTOWN ARCHBOLD BUSINESSES ARE OPEN! BUSINESSES ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE STREET CAN BE ACCESSED FROM DITTO STREET & BUSINESSES ON THE EAST SIDE CAN BE ACCESSED FROM WILLIAM STREET & VINE STREET.
