Do I need a license for my bicycle?
Any purchaser of a bicycle shall have five days from date of purchase to obtain a bicycle license. The application for a license should be made to the Police Department and shall be accompanied by a fee of $1. Upon the sale or transfer of ownership of a licensed bicycle, a new bicycle license must be obtained.
Are there any restrictions for riding my bike in village limits?
Every person operating a bicycle shall comply with all traffic signs and signals for vehicular and pedestrian traffic. It is prohibited for any person to ride a bicycle upon the sidewalks in the Business Districts in the village. It is permissible for any person to walk a bicycle on the sidewalks in the Business Districts.
Does Archbold have a Curfew Ordinance?
Curfew for children under age 16 – 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. unless accompanied by parent or guardian. Curfew for children between ages 16 and 18 – 12:00 midnight to 6:00 a.m. unless accompanied by parent or guardian.
Can I obtain a copy of a police report?
Copies of police reports can be picked up at the police department. Business hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
