Planning & Zoning

The Planning & Zoning Division administers the Village’s Zoning Code and provides general guidance regarding the Community and Economic Development Initiatives. The Zoning Code regulates development and establishes property maintenance standards, approved business uses, and land use. The Village contracts with Wood County for commercial building permit services; however, zoning permits are issued by the Village for major and minor construction projects including items like fences, signs, and building additions.
