Lion’s Park

Lion’s Park is a small neighborhood park located on East Holland Street. The park contains a basketball court and playground equipment.

Memorial Park

Located on the south side of Archbold with land in excess of 40 acres, Memorial Park is presently home to the baseball and softball programs for the town as well as the high school. You will also find volleyball and basketball courts, a large playground, restrooms and two picnic shelter and lots of open space. Located on the east side of the park is the David Aeschliman Memorial with new monuments recognizing those from the area who have served in past wars.

The Memorial Park baseball and softball fields are available for rental for organized games and practices by teams that are not sponsored by the Archbold Parks & Recreation Department.  All reservations require a refundable deposit of $300.  Fees for field rental are as follows:  

  • Diamonds 1, 2, 4, 5, 6:  $100 (four hour time block).
  • Diamond 3:  $150 (four hour time block).

North Pointe Park

This park is centrally located in a large residential area, at the intersection of St. Anne and Primrose Streets. Park amenities include a playground, a lighted basketball court, picnic shelter and sledding hill.

Ruihley Park

Ruihley Park is a beautiful, serene, 27 acre park located between Holland and Walnut Streets in the center of

Archbold. This park houses Ruihley Park Pavilion, Scout Cabin and Cottage. Also found here is the Archbold Swimming Pool, splash pad, six pickleball courts, two playgrounds, walking paths, sand volleyball courts, two basketball courts, restrooms, a ball diamond and open shelters.

Many community events are held at Ruihley Park such as the annual Carp Festival, the Pumpkin Path, Flashlight Egg Hunt, Evening with Santa, Ice Cream Social, Chicken Barbecue and more.

South Street Park

Another neighborhood park, South Street Park is located on the corner of South Street and West Street. Playground equipment and a picnic shelter are available.  Additional improvements include a complete resurfacing of the basketball court, along with pickleball court lines.

Woodland Park

This is the newest addition to the Archbold Parks & Recreation Department, located adjacent to Woodland Oaks on SR 66. The almost 60 acres of land was purchased in 2000. Woodland Park is home to Archbold flag football and soccer programs. Other park amenities include an awesome playground, restrooms, concession stand, basketball courts, walking trails and The Creaking Woods Disc Golf Course.
